Actively living out my “travel dreams” Pinterest board

Today is bittersweet. After almost a year, I packed my things up and headed back home to Arkansas yesterday. In those several months away though, I found another home too and my life has changed because of it. Colorado made me feel alive. Being in the mountains brought me a sense of peace that I hadn’t felt before to that extent. I made new connections and explored new places. I ate really good food and spent countless hours in nature. I worked hard and grew a lot as nurse. I grew a lot in general. So although it feels nice to be sitting on my comfy couch, in my lovely house, making plans with my family and friends that I’ve missed dearly, and enjoying the 60 degree weather (70s and sunny the next two days!), I know at some point I’ll make my way back to that beautiful place that stole my heart ❤️‍🔥 by @jill_jordan

Coffee shop sittin and neighborhood strollin with your bff is important for mental health if you didn’t know by @jill_jordan

Yesterday was a long awaited day. Not only because it was my birthday 😋 but because I finally accumulated enough motivation to hang up the rest of my wall art collection. I also want it to be known that I couldn’t find my hammer so I used a rock from outside 😌 by @jill_jordan

We love snow days!! (Especially Poppy) by @jill_jordan

Year in recap
1.) went off to Washington and had some amazing experiences including a short trip to Victoria BC
2.) attended a life-changing retreat in Utah
3.) beautiful beautiful roadtrip highlighting the Oregon coast and northern California
4.) spent the summer in Baltimore with best friends and got to be city rats in NYC for few days
5.) visited Washington DC for the first time
6.) went on a hike at the Shenandoah NP
7.) had a very lovely (although a little chilly and drizzly) day at a beach in Delaware with my best friend
8.) came back to AR and hosted a Halloween party
9.) took my mom to Mexico for a friends wedding

These are just highlights and of course there have been some lows. But I know no matter what, I can look forward to whatever the future brings because good things will come, and that my loved ones will be along for the ride with me 💖 by @jill_jordan
