China’s years-long splurge on bridges, tunnels, expressways, high-speed rail and airports is beginning to tail off. Questions are likely to grow about whether it was all worthwhile.

The humanitarian cost has been enormous: millions have been turfed off their land to make way for roads, railways, airports and other such projects—often without their consent and sometimes with little compensation.

The country has grown far richer, and praise for the transport network, at home and abroad, is often effusive.

But weighing up the benefits of transport infrastructure is difficult anywhere. Tap the link in our bio to read why some experts argue that China has invested far more than necessary.

🇨🇿Víte, jak se říká, že člověk nemá mít malé cíle? Že má snít i ty největší sny a udělat maximum pro to, aby se uskutečnily? My s tím musíme souhlasit!
Když jsme před lety začínaly s Psí šancí, ani ve snu by nás nenapadlo, že se jednou součástí našeho charitativního kalendáře stane kytarista legendárních KISS, Tommy Thayer! 🎸 A stačil k tomu vlastně “jen” jeden odvážný e-mail, nečekaná odpověď a sen se stal skutečností 🙏🏻 Tommy naši nabídku přijal a my jsme poznaly nejen světovou rockovou hvězdu, ale především neuvěřitelně milého a přátelského člověka. Dnes vám konečně představujeme oficiální fotografie z našeho společného focení pro náš kalendář 2027 ❤️

Celý příběh najdete v novém článku na Móda.cz - odkaz v biu.

🇬🇧 They say you should never be afraid to dream big. We couldn’t agree more! ❤️ When we started Psí šance, we never imagined that Tommy Thayer, guitarist of the legendary KISS, would one day join our charity calendar! 🎸 One brave email, an unexpected reply, and a dream came true.

Tommy, thank you for supporting our project and for being such a kind and wonderful person. We’re so happy to finally share these photos with the world! ❤️

This is important.

Newly released air traffic control audio captures the terrifying final moments aboard a private jet before it plunges into a Florida neighborhood, killing all nine people on board.

The pilot declares "Mayday, mayday" as the Learjet rapidly loses altitude, reporting a descent of 20,000 feet per minute. An air traffic controller desperately tries to maintain contact, telling the crew, "I'm here with you. Talk to me."

The jet was traveling from Texas to the Bahamas when the crew reported icing, turbulence and worsening weather conditions.
