![In January, Alex Honnold spent about 90 minutes climbing the outside of Taipei 101 with no rope, live on Netflix. “There's a plan,” he said, “and I'm executing the plan.”
Play great in practice and tighten up when it counts? Comment "INNER" and we'll send you the tool that trains your mind for those exact moments.
Marie Monfils, who runs a fear memory lab at the University of Texas at Austin, described the method to Nautilus: “It's better over time if you can put yourself in a situation where you experience some fear, but you overcome it, and you do it again and again and again.”
On a cliff 3,000 feet above a Swiss valley, Honnold put it more simply: “This is not scary, because this is what I do.”
Which moment in your next event would you rehearse first?
