A 4-year-old says he’s hungry and gets yelled at instead of being fed. Then he’s sent upstairs ALONE to play in a brand-new house he’s never even been in before, while she sits downstairs doing absolutely nothing. Welcome home, Superior! Imagine being more concerned with sitting around than making sure your little boy feels safe, settled and cared for in a new environment. Motherhood is not a spectator sport. #blueface #thehunch #trending #fyp #trendingreels
Would you ever drink cockroach milk? 🪳🥛 Scientists have discovered that the Pacific beetle cockroach produces a milk-like substance containing protein crystals packed with nutrients. Research suggests these crystals contain more than three times the energy of an equivalent amount of cow’s milk, making them a potential candidate for future nutritional supplements. Unlike cows, cockroaches cannot simply be milked. The substance is produced to nourish developing embryos, and extracting its nutrient-rich crystals is an extremely difficult process. Although researchers are exploring whether these proteins could eventually be produced on a larger scale, cockroach milk is still far from becoming a commercially available superfood. The science is fascinating, but the thought of drinking cockroach milk might be enough to make most people lose their appetite. 💀 Follow @horrors for more 👻
BREAKING: Democrats win the Senate, per Votehub. And, Greg Abbott has conceded.
The house is rather clunky, like a grand old lady, and I want to make it feel comfortable in itself.’ Christmas at the north Cotswold home of Gardeners’ World presenter Rachel de Thame is all about comfort. From family gathered around the dining table to the relaxed, light-filled drawing room, the house has been restored by the family one room at a time since 2013, with ease at its heart. Now adorned with fresh pine and fern for the season ahead, Rachel’s approach to decorating for Christmas feels as natural as it is inviting. Tour this historic house in all its jewel-toned finery at the link in bio now. Video by @fliegauf_studio Words by @clarefostergardens
