IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE!
We officially have an election date for THIS SPRING!
What does that mean?
We’re so glad you ask!
This election is our opportunity to show Skidmore we want a union!
The RAs and CAs will vote and have the opportunity to make their voices heard. A vote is either in favor of or against the unionization of RAs and CAs, but the answer is pretty clear to us: WE NEED A UNION NOW!
Vote in Wyckoff Center on Tuesday, May 9th (during finals week), from 12-2pm & 3-7pm. We can't wait to see your faces!
With warmth and gratitude,
SSWU

![“Of [a car’s] gasoline, less than 1% of that energy ends up moving the driver,” says Amory Lovins, cofounder and chairman emeritus of the Rocky Mountain Institute. If companies make cars out of carbon fiber–reinforced plastic, he states that “you take out almost 700 pounds of weight, but the car costs the same because you need fewer batteries to haul less weight around.” According to Lovins, the most efficient car about to enter production in the United States “is a two seater that gets the equivalent of 343 miles a gallon. In fact, so efficient—three times better than a Tesla—that just the solar cells on top of the car will run it 11,000 miles a year without having to plug in.”
