This video tours Gagosian’s presentation of six, major new paintings by Albert Oehlen at Frieze London (@friezeofficial), which is on view in Regent’s Park through Sunday, October 18.

In these paintings, the artist continues to explore the still-rich possibilities of a long-established medium and format, riffing on varied fragments, forms, and motifs. Throughout his oeuvre, Oehlen reimagines diverse sources in ways that render “subject matter” less significant than the act of transforming images into new states. Combining graphic brushstrokes and painterly drips with unexpected chromatic and textural juxtapositions, he tests the limits of coherence. Follow the link in our bio to learn more.

For the first time since 1971 we can finally see Ken Russell’s “The Devils” the way it was intended to be seen.

Once again, Karen Bass has doubled down on her effort to kill a safety project and bike lane on Forest Lawn Drive.

Fortunately, she will not succeed, because we will vote her out of office next month.

This is about more than a bike lane. It's about standing up to the wealthy and powerful few who they think they own the world. It's about building a safer, happier Los Angeles for all. It's about whether we're committed to the status quo or want real progress.

I'm sick of going out to this death trap of a road to film videos about this. Hopefully this is the last.

Like I said in the vid, this is a street fight. We are going to win. But it won't be easy.

If you're a cyclist in LA, I'm begging you to vote. The choice is obvious.

😍🔥🔥
