HAIR TRANSPLANT SURGERY DAY! 👨🏼‍⚕️🥼@zieringmedical @dr.craigziering ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: POST CONTAINS BL00D ⚠️ Watch until the end for final results!!! Let’s talk about the science behind hair transplants. 🧬 Both Turkey and the United States commonly use FUE (Follicular Unit Excision), but the biggest differences often come down to extraction technique, physician involvement, and donor-area management. FUE uses micro-punch instruments, typically around 0.7–1.0 mm, to individually extract follicular units from the back and sides of the scalp. Follicles don’t always grow at the same angle beneath the scalp as the visible hair. Improper extraction can cause what’s called follicular transection, damaging the follicle and potentially compromising graft survival. Another major factor is donor preservation. We have a finite supply of transplantable follicles, and overharvesting can cause permanent thinning and visible scarring. More grafts don’t always mean better results! Some clinics rely heavily on technicians, while others involve physicians more directly in extraction. This varies by clinic and local regulations, not just country. Finally, implantation angle, direction, and density are what help create a natural-looking result, especially around the hairline. As a hairstylist, I find the science behind this fascinating. It’s not just about how much hair you transplant, but how carefully each follicle is handled, preserved, and placed. #hairtransplant #FUE #hairrestoration

They are bragging about Trump taking their side…
Ten days on hunger strike. Ten days of putting their bodies and their futures on the line, simply for the right to be heard. Today, I stood with the students of JNU, a university that has taught generations of young Indians that questioning power is not a crime, but a responsibility. You can rusticate a student, but how do you rusticate a question? You can barricade a campus, but how do you barricade an idea? There is a reason those in power fear places like JNU. Because some generations refuse to inherit silence. To every student fighting for dignity, democracy and justice, your struggle is ours too. JNU has never learnt to bow. And may it never have to. Here’s how yesterday’s MARTA bus crash on Northside Dr. unfolded. As you can see in the video, the SUV ran a red light. Distracted driving can have life changing consequences in seconds. Luckily, in this situation, everyone involved appeared to be physically OK. PSA: Stay alert, put your phone down, and always pay attention to the road.
