It’s time to meet another four of our #BIMMClassOf23. 📖
DEXTER KRENAL: Dex is a guitarist, producer, songwriter, and sound engineer. He is the guitarist of PREGOBLIN and 1/2 of Red Peril (with ex-Madonnatron, Stefania Cardenas). He has recently played Green Man festival in Wales with PREGOBLIN and has also performed at other major UK festivals including Reading and Leeds as Sony-signed artist Misty Miller’s guitarist, and Victorious festival with his solo project DXTA.
ANNA HIRCHGÄNGER: Anna Hirschgänger or Deer Anna is an indie pop artist from Hamburg. Her debut EP Have I Even Been Asleep, led to Anna playing numerous concerts, support shows (TORRES, Havington), and festival gigs (Reeperbahn Festival, MS Dockville). Her songs have been played by major German radio stations such as NDR 2, DLF Kultur, radioeins, and more.
PHOENIX ELLESCHILD: “Having gone from ‘bedroom guitarist’ to playing shows with small audiences to gradually building a presence in the South West, I have recently been signed to the record label Spinefarm as the guitarist for Haunt the Woods. Playing, recording and studying music has always been the most rewarding part of my life and the healthiest way I’ve found of exploring emotions.”
NATHAN EVANS: “After starting at BIMM Manchester in 2018 I set up a print and digital magazine called KEYMAG. After covid hit, I switched to the freelance side and had the pleasure of writing reviews and feature interviews for The Guardian, Pitchfork, Bandcamp, DJ Mag and more. I feel very blessed to have been able to put people onto great music and pick incredible minds.”
