Dear Friends of Fluid,
We have some good and bad news. We’ll start with the bad first and end on a good note!
We at Fluid are honored to have created a beautiful, vibrant family at the La Cocina Municipal Marketplace. We have laughed, cried, grieved, and loved as a community - making this first update even more heartbreaking.
After Pride 2023 (Sunday, June 25th), Fluid Coffee and Events will be closing its doors permanently at La Cocina Marketplace. This was not our decision, but that of La Cocina. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to create something so beautiful and unique in the Tenderloin, however, we haven’t been open about the hardships that come with being trans people of color in this space.
That said, we will also be canceling our Queer Coffee Conference and pushing back to the summer of 2024 to focus on Pride catering and fundraising for our future home here in the Tenderloin. Our apologies to anyone who has made arrangements to come to QCC, we hope we can see you in 2024.
The good news is we have about a month left at our current location and a series of events that you can come to!
First, we have one more TenderMic on Thursday, June 8th. There’s still time to come and enjoy local artists sharing their crafts! And we have three more Game Nights on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month (May 17th, June 7th, and June 21st.)
We are also bringing back our Queer Prom on Friday, June 9th at the San Francisco Fairmont! This will be a free event and registration will be up soon!
This is not the end of Fluid, but rather the start of a new chapter for us and we hope you’ll continue to support us as we fundraise to start the buildout of our brick & mortar! Donate to our Givebutter page (link in bio) and share. We will be sharing updates about our next steps on instagram and on our website so stay tuned!

Jesus died for the sin of Homosexuality & Cross Dressing! And I repented for those sins and all my sins and placed my faith in Jesus! I’m Heaven bound & No longer going to Hell! . ✝️THE WORD OF GOD 🟩JOHN 3:36 kjv “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” ( GOD’S WRATH IS HELL & THE LAKE OF FIRE! *Rev21:8, *Matt10:28 ) . . 🟧MY HELL TESTIMONY: I never believed in Christianity and was going to die gay and happy but Jesus showed up in my life and warned me of where I would go if I continued living a LGBTQ+ lifestyle…I was sent to an entrance to Hell, it was a brown and orange cave where I saw 5 demons that had giant heads, slit eyes, pale skin and dark robes on, they were vampires!! God let me know I was there for Lesbianism and there was a gay man that was behind me that was damned too!!

I have a good first everlasting impression and I know this community is resilient. I hope you guys can increase your marketing efforts using IG, Tik Tok , YouTube, and Facebook. I can brainstorm with you guys over some content ideas to start promotion.
