Western Teleport came out 15 years ago. I was hoping to wait until the 20th anniversary to commemorate it properly, but y'all apparently want more WT stuff NOW, so we here at team @barnonerecords got busy.

FIRST: This Friday, 30 October, at 7:30pm SHARP, I'll be singing all eleven songs on Western Teleport on acoustic guitar at Desert Island @desertislandrecordings, a very beautiful and very small comic book shop at Met on the L right by the BQE in Brooklyn. It's free, but only the first 40 people will be able to fit in, so get there early if you want to hear it. (Thanks to @urmyeverlovin for making this happen and to @fathers_puka_shells.exe for the porous membrane-themed flyer.)

NEXT: There will likely be an overflow crowd of folks who cannot get in; for these folks I'll TRYYYY to do a second set across the street of "Erica Western Teleport," "Allahu Akbar," "Freeway in Heaven," and a few requests, God and weather and NYPD willing.

ALSO: There will be a special announcement at the show of some plans we have for 2027. Only people at this event will have the opportunity to grab a certain kind of Western Teleport-related thing we're making...not gonna say more about it until Friday, but feel free to guess below and I'll rate your guesses on a scale of 0.000 to 0.999.

See you there!

A man downloaded Dexter: Resurrection through BitTorrent and received a copyright infringement notice from Paramount through Starlink just two days later.

Sam Guichelaar shared the incident on X, saying he had never received a warning like this before, despite years of downloading torrents.

The complaint, dated October 31, came from Vobile, a company that monitors online piracy on behalf of copyright holders. It identified alleged BitTorrent activity linked to his internet connection and requested that Starlink take action.

Starlink forwarded the notice, warning that downloading copyrighted material without permission could lead to his internet service being suspended or terminated, as well as possible legal action from Paramount.

What caught people's attention was the speed. Within 48 hours of downloading the show, Guichelaar had already received a formal warning from his internet provider, complete with details of the alleged infringement.

Toilet cleaning before and afters will never get old to me, especially during a free deep clean like this one.

Still one of my favourite bathroom transformations years later and I’m pretty sure it’s because I’ve never gotten over the square toilet 😍 @scrubdaddy was basically the only thing strong enough to tackle what was hiding in there. #cleanwithme #scrubdaddypartner #transformation

I mean are we surprised 🤭🐈
