Actress and content creator Sahiba Bali has faced online abuse and threats after reposting a message highlighting the contradiction between worshipping Goddess Durga and suppressing women who raise their voices against injustice. The post drew a parallel between the celebration of feminine power and the police action against women participating in recent protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Sharing screenshots of abusive messages, Sahiba expressed exhaustion over the hatred she has faced, stating that speaking out against injustice can put one's livelihood and safety at risk. She also addressed the criticism surrounding her political and religious views, saying that she faces abuse whether she speaks up or chooses to remain silent.

Miss Grand International 2026. 🇨🇿❤️

S každým dalším dnem jsem si věřila víc a víc, překonávala samu sebe, posouvala své hranice a bojovala až do poslední chvíle.

Jeden výsledek nikdy neurčuje, čeho všeho je člověk schopný.

Děkuji, Miss Grand International. 🤍
