Content creator Atiyya NaDirah is asking the public to stop circulating disturbing images of her close friend’s final moments after he d*ed in a roller coaster tragedy at Six Flags Over Georgia. “I need those photos scrubbed from the Internet,” she said through tears. NaDirah, an Atlanta Internet personality known as Miss 404, is urging anyone who encounters the footage or photographs to report them instead of reposting them. She also had a message for journalists covering the tragedy, asking them to “leave the family alone for a second.” The victim, 42-year-old Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem of Atlanta, d*ed Monday, October 12, after being ejected from the Goliath roller coaster at the amusement park near Atlanta. According to Cobb County police, officers responded around 3:58 p.m. and found Kariem beneath the ride, unresponsive and not breathing. Preliminary interviews indicate he struck other passengers before falling. Four other people were reportedly injured, and investigators have not determined what caused the incident. Kariem worked as an IT manager at Wesley International Academy, where he was remembered as a valued member of the school community. A witness said his son was sitting beside him when the tragedy unfolded. Following the fatal incident, Six Flags temporarily shut down nine similar roller coasters at six parks as a precaution. The company says it is cooperating with authorities. As the investigation continues, NaDirah’s appeal is simple: respect the family’s grief and stop turning someone’s d*ath into content. Should people refrain from sharing these type of images? 🎥 @atiyyanadirah
