A court in Meerut on Wednesday, October 14, sentenced Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla to death in connection with the death of Rastogi’s husband, Saurabh Rajput. His dismembered body was found concealed in a blue drum filled with cement at their home in March 2025.

“Both have been sentenced to death for the crime,” advocate Krishan Kumar Dubey reportedly said.

The sentencing follows the court’s decision to convict the duo last month. District Judge Arvind Kumar Mishra delivered the verdict after 126 hearings and statements from 22 witnesses.

According to the prosecution, Rastogi and Shukla conspired against Rajput, a Merchant Navy officer, on March 3, 2025. Police said his body was dismembered and the remains concealed inside a blue industrial drum using cement and sand.

The duo was arrested following an investigation, during which police recovered the drum containing Rajput’s remains.

During the trial, the prosecution presented circumstantial, technical and physical evidence against the accused. Local shopkeepers testified that they had sold a blue plastic drum, cement bags, sand, cleavers and razors to Rastogi and Shukla before the incident.

She also calls out Dava, accusing her of doing things for camera time and clout, while explaining why she hit her in the first place. Ciroc also questions Dava’s friendship with House B, calls her beef with Fania fake and brings up more issues surrounding the season. Chileee, Ciroc is laying it ALL out! Do y’all think she’s telling the truth about Dava, or is there more to this story?
