Had a fun time in Squamish with a few familiar faces from Washington. It was a blast to climb with Washington homies @andywalbon @lucasdebari and @armchairalpinist and shoot photos videos of each other while romping some of the finest collection of granite moderates around.
As I am sort of a Washington homie by association, the rest of the text that no one will read is about Index. Index provides. It just blows my mind! Such a cliche mantra, but so true. The second Jack dropped me off in Everett I had a ride lined up to the promised land (THANK YOU @adambenjamins ), had a bike + welcoming home (THANK YOU Lucas and @mallorydebari) and of course some of my favorite granite around to play on.
Even with weather that was a little dreary, it was a pleasure seeing familiar friendly faces and getting in pitches with friends new & old on the wall that helped me gain confidence in myself in vertical yoga. I had so much fun that I didn’t even take many photos. It’s just one of those spots that recharges the soul. And a thank you to @macs412 for the good company/climbing and ride to the light link 🩵
Anyway back to Anchorage and back to regular life for a few days. My fingers are happy for the rest.
