THIS!!!!! The theme of many conversations lately has been changing bodies, is what I was doing not working anymore, what else should I do, I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but…….it’s not easy to accept that our bodies are meant to change. It’s normal. You aren’t a failure or lazy or wrong. Follow

Body changes at any age aren’t easy to accept, but aside from puberty, midlife is often when the body experiences the most changes.
So many women in midlife feel that because their bodies have changed, they are doing something wrong or are being ‘lazy’, especially as it relates to their weight.
This often leads to an uptick in disordered eating, body dissatisfaction, and hyper-focusing on anti-aging practices.
The more we lean into the fact that bodies are supposed to change, the less we’ll try to control them.
Consider redirecting the energy often used to try to ‘fix’ the body toward practices that will support the body like gentle nutrition, consistent movement, and cultivating self-compassion in all areas of life. This is what improves the aging experience without doing emotional and physical harm.
