This Cat Maxwell Gets Obsessed Fighting! “Dude, we are from the same home!” #cats

A Russian attack drone hit a functioning supermarket in Mayaky, causing a major fire. At least three people sustained injuries, with rescue efforts still underway, according to President Zelenskyy.

The noodles were different, but this time her reaction was too.

Hannah ordered ramen at a new restaurant, expecting the curly noodles she’s familiar with. When it came out they were straight noodles that looked like spaghetti.

Not long ago that difference would have been enough for her not to eat it, but this time she acknowledged that it looked different, pointed out the differences, and worked through her discomfort to try it.

I can’t tell you how many times she’s ordered something familiar with every intention of eating it, only for an unexpected difference to make it feel wrong. A different noodle shape or a different color broth might seem insignificant to someone else, but for her it would mean going without the meal entirely.

This is why “I’m sure you can find something she can eat on the menu” isn’t always that simple with ARFID. Finding something familiar on the menu doesn’t mean it will arrive looking or feeling familiar to her.

It’s also why “she’ll eat when she’s hungry” is so frustrating to hear. We’ve watched her skip countless meals even when she was hungry because the food in front of her didn’t feel safe.

This time she noticed the differences, talked through what felt uncomfortable, and still gave it a try. Not every meal will look like this, but moments like these show how far she’s come and that’s what matters.

Some women collect shoes. I have a thing for fabulous glasses! 🤓❤️

On my recent trip to Vancouver, I stopped by @theopticalboutique to see my dear friend Sue, who has such an incredible eye for finding frames that feel like YOU.

Just in time for Fashion Week, we played with shapes, colors, and a little personality. Because the right pair of glasses doesn’t just complete an outfit. Sometimes, it makes the whole look.

And clearly, choosing just one pair was never going to be easy! 😂

Thank you, Sue, for always knowing exactly what suits me.

Elon's political hiatus didn't last long.⁣
⁣
Despite comments last year pointing to less political spending in his future, the world's richest man has quietly become the largest known donor to this year's midterms.⁣
⁣
Though he's been less vocal about his contributions compared to two years ago, Musk has gifted $276 million to Republican groups since July, the New York Times (NYT) reported this week.⁣
⁣
Those donations include $158 million to the Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC backing GOP Senate candidates, a gift the NYT says is more than a rival Democratic group raised from all its donors during the same period.⁣
⁣
With the GOP looking to retain control of Congress next month, Musk's other donations included $76 million to his own super PAC, $20 million to the Congressional Leadership Fund, $10 million to Lone Star Liberty PAC, $10 million to the Republican Governors Association, and $2 million to the Republican Attorneys General Association.⁣
⁣
The summer spending spree took Musk's total campaign contributions for the current election cycle to a whopping $366 million, surpassing his entire 2024 total of 'just' $290 million.⁣
