His son Mateo is autistic. He can't talk, and he always struggles with a lot of stimuli. That is why he is usually not in the stadium during games. Cucurella's partner, Claudia Rodríguez, and their two other children, Rio and Bella, are usually at the games. But at this World Cup too, Mateo missed every game. Simply because a stadium environment is far too overwhelming for him. 🏟️ But Cucurella promised Mateo that if Spain reached the final, he would take him to the stadium. And Spain reached the final. So Mateo was there, watching the game from a special place as he saw his father become a World Champion... 🏆 And just look at what that meant to Cucurella after the game, finally being able to celebrate all together 🥹 What a fantastic day that must have been for him.
