Wave Hilll Arts is accepting applications for the 2024 Sunroom Project Space, an opportunity for emerging, New York City-area artists to develop and exhibit a site-responsive project at Wave Hill.
We are particularly interested in proposals for projects that engage with the site of Wave Hill (plant collection, history and other aspects of the grounds) in relation to the immediate and surrounding neighborhoods and communities of the Bronx.
Six artists will be selected for solo exhibitions and will receive an honorarium of $2,000 each, exhibition support and professional development. An additional artist will be selected for an outdoor project on Glyndor Terrace and receive an honorarium of $6,000. Artists will have six to twelve months to develop their ideas, create new work and participate in a Meet the Artist program during their exhibition.
Application Deadline: Sunday, July 23, 11:59 PM.
DM @rachelgugelberger with any questions!
