I have been flirting with this idea for a while. I can longer write without compression gloves and usually a brace on each wrist, making the process much slower. Keeping up with the Author Jonses is killing my creativity and my spirit. I began this journey to write my heart and I’m grateful for all that this path has brought to me, but I know for a fact I cannot keep going without stepping away from the draining portion of this career. My art is sacred; I will not sell my soul; I will not get lost in the fray. And that means I need to step away. I need room to read and write in order to stay true to myself and my stories.
Aside from popping in for the release of @authorwhitneydean and @authordaniejaye’s books and giveaways I’ve agreed to, I don’t know when I’ll be back.

Enjoy refilling your cup! We all need to from time to time. It’s a cycle. Work play and rest are all necessary for the creative process. Good for you for stepping away! You’ll come back stronger for taking the time for yourself! Sorry about your wrists, I hope the benefit from the break as well! ❤️
