Exorcism of Faeries 9.8.26 from @sagapressbooks

POSTS STORIES REELS

We are SO excited to announce the acquisition of J. L. Vampa's indie published sensation, THE EXORCISM OF FAERIES!

It is said they are but lore.
It is said they are but demons.

Wayward spirits. Ghosts.
Specters. Ghouls.
The truth beckons...
A sumptuous dark academia romance, The Exorcism of Faeries follows an ambitious graduate student as her curiosity draws her into a deadly mystery haunting the streets of Dublin, alongside her Morbid Anatomy professor, a man who becomes both partner and temptation.
Steeped in the gothic and the occult, The Exorcism of Faeries is perfect for fans of Alexis Henderson, Allison Saft and Olivie Blake. The ebook and audiobook are available now, and a dazzling print edition lands in bookstores September 2026! by @jlvampa

I am now officially on a permanent Instagram break. You can find details and where to reach me in my link 🩶 by @jlvampa

What are some of your biggest inspirations?

For the dedications in Spring, I chose the very things that set my soul on fire and inspired this entire series. You never know who—through time and space—could be moved by your art. Never stop creating.

THANK YOU for another beautiful release day🥹

Spring of Ruin is officially out in the world and Sorscha is basking in her hour of glory as we all knew she would. Sister Spring busted in two weeks early and 100 pages longer than Sisters Autumn and Winter just to show them up. Because she is who she is 😂

Sister Spring is busting in 2 weeks early and 100 pages longer. Sorscha gets what Sorscha wants. SPRING OF RUIN OUT NOW wherever books are sold. by @jlvampa

I had to break my hiatus slightly for this.

Spring is officially drafted. And now the real work begins. This one is…unexpected, from start to finish. Including the page count 😳 (for me, anyway)

To celebrate, I want to do a live this week before I head back off here. I will say you can catch me raw and unhinged on Threads as long as it remains a lot more chill than the grind over here 😏.

ON HIATUS • Please Read

I have been flirting with this idea for a while. I can longer write without compression gloves and usually a brace on each wrist, making the process much slower. Keeping up with the Author Jonses is killing my creativity and my spirit. I began this journey to write my heart and I’m grateful for all that this path has brought to me, but I know for a fact I cannot keep going without stepping away from the draining portion of this career. My art is sacred; I will not sell my soul; I will not get lost in the fray. And that means I need to step away. I need room to read and write in order to stay true to myself and my stories.

Aside from popping in for the release of @authorwhitneydean and @authordaniejaye’s books and giveaways I’ve agreed to, I don’t know when I’ll be back.

I will be sending out newsletters more regularly, so please sign up for that in my bio!

I love you all. I’ll do an AMA today for any last questions and hiatus will begin tomorrow. jlvampa@jlvampa.com for important matters.

Xoxo
