Funny how women can turn up to the gym to work on themselves and somehow become someone else’s punchline.

As a female athlete, I train hard to feel strong and confident in my body. And I’ll wear what I feel good in. Whether that’s leggings or the shortest shorts I can find, that choice is mine.

In light of recent “Gym Whores” news (Shane Gillis.. Cornell 7..) I shouldn’t need to explain my outfit to earn your respect. Neither should any other woman. The length of our shorts says nothing about our character, and calling it a joke doesn’t make the judgement any less exhausting.

We deserve to feel comfortable, confident and safe in whatever we choose. Our clothing is never an invitation for abuse.

Salt Bread @hanaasbrink is now my new favorite dinner roll. Perhaps this is because it is really a cross between a dinner roll and a croissant. Beginning with a tangzhong-base, it is a gorgeous, pliable yeasted dough that, after waiting for me overnight, is rolled up into balls and out into individual triangle shapes. Each soon-to-be-bun wraps itself around a tablespoon of frozen salted butter (@plugrabutter) and rises for about an hour.

These beauties are misted with water and topped with flaky sea salt @maldonsalt. As they bake, the butter inside slowly releases and essentially creates a pool in which each roll gently fries. Isn’t that just a beautiful thought - that crisp edge to the base of every one? As the rolls finish baking/frying, they are basted with the remaining pan butters. Again, beautiful thoughts.

Have them with dinner, or have them with soup. Send some to your MIL. Have them because they are sitting there on the counter (👀), and you just want one. They are that crazy good!!

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga mengerahkan berbagai upaya guna mempercepat pemulihan layanan distribusi bahan bakar minyak bagi masyarakat di Provinsi Bali.

Vice President Corporate Communication Pertamina Patra Niaga Kitty Andhora, dalam keterangannya di Jakarta, Rabu (14/10), mengatakan langkah yang dilakukan meliputi penguatan pasokan hingga 57,9 juta liter bahan bakar minyak (BBM), penambahan jam operasional stasiun pengisian bahan bakar umum (SPBU), penguatan personel lintas fungsi, serta penambahan armada mobil tangki guna memenuhi kebutuhan energi masyarakat.

Kitty menyampaikan perusahaan terus memaksimalkan seluruh sumber daya dan mengintensifkan koordinasi lintas fungsi untuk mempercepat pemulihan layanan BBM di Bali.

Dari sisi pasokan, Pertamina Patra Niaga mengoptimalkan kedatangan kapal tanker secara bertahap pada 14-17 Oktober 2026 melalui Terminal Manggis dan Terminal Sanggaran.
