The reckoning has President Karol now, and he has already told the Tusk usurpers what they are: “You are not judges of the Constitutional Tribunal”. The Tusk-let corruption has a witness from the right as well, and Mentzen’s verdict on the recovery fund fits on one line: “Half a million from KPO went to a swingers’ club”. Between those two sentences stands the whole of Tusk’s Poland: courts claimed by men and women without oaths and money claimed by these without shame. The empires that partitioned Poland always worked through Polish hands, and those hands always believed the foreign patron would protect them. The patron never did, and the nation always collected the debt in the end. Poland is not asking Brussels for permission to remember what a traitor looks like. It is naming them, one receipt at a time, and it will finish the audit under its own president.
