Autism Simulator - Auditory Processing ⚠️ Trigger warning for Autistic followers, this video may be too close to our reality and make you uncomfortable. But it’s kinda like this: Imagine being in a restaurant, and you’re surrounded by a lot of people, and they’re talking and chattering. The chattering is becoming distracting, more and more obvious. And the more people that come into the restaurant, the more you hear other people. You can’t filter any of the background noise. You hear every one’s conversations, the wine pouring, a baby crying, the hand dryer… It becomes so overwhelming that all you wanna do is rip out your eyeballs, ears, and hair, and fall to the ground and cry. That’s kind of what it feels like… being autistic and in a public space. #autismawareness #neurodiversity #auditoryprocessingdisorder #sensoryoverload #autismsimulator
