There are truly no words that can describe what the last 7 weeks have meant to me and felt like. Were they whimsical, intense, exhilarating, exhausting, dream-like, or beautiful? Must have been all of the above, because I currently feel like I’m on top of the world whilst paradoxically being deeply rooted in a state of serein gratitude and bliss.
Never have I produced/directed such a large scaled production as this one. What a feeling, what a life! We’re truly making "Back to the Present!" a reality. Stand aside A24, @justinslstudios is coming in hot (literally, we just got back from Arizona, Utah and Florida!) ☀️

The first 7 weeks of principal photography for "Back to the Present!" have been nothing short of electric, fast paced and jam-packed, but wow… where to begin?!

Countless memories, adventures, experiences, people, magic moments, unexpected turn of events, breathtaking views and lots of success behind the camera!!!!

From the Cavalry chasing outlaws and stagecoaches on Clint Eastwood’s old stomping grounds, to Futuristic royalty battling energetically with lightsabers in the middle of Central Park during the wee-hours of the night, magic has been happening on the daily @justinslstudios and I can’t even pick my top 10 favorite days as there were so many!
I’m going to be posting 5 subsequent posts to showcase some of these incredible days/places/moments in the coming months, so stay tuned!

4 States = AZ, UT, FL, NY
6 Cities = Tucson, Benson, Kayenta, Kanab, Naples and New York City
9 Locations = Monument Valley, Mescal Movie Set, Queens Theatre, Central Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Belly of the Dragon Cave, Fakahatchee Strand Preserve, Barefoot Beach Preserve.

All I can say is wow - this it is really happening. Working 24/7 for 14 months really does pay off after all… now let’s keep on pushing to truly make this dream a reality! 6 weeks down, 6 more to go!
