Im not sure if this is twin postpartum issues or what, but I’ve been struggling..have you ever been in a place where you know you have absolutely nothing to complain about in life, yet it feels so hard to get out of bed?

I keep hoping if I focus on the good, meditate, pray, remind myself how blessed I am… I’ll start feeling better.

And I really AM blessed. Doug is seriously so patient & loving & such an incredible father. Our kids are healthy, happy & thriving. I love this life. We are so blessed 🙏

So why do I want to sleep all day?? Getting out of bed feels like a marathon & my thoughts spiral. things I’d normally be excited about just feel exhausting🥱

Then our bathroom decided to grow mold…🫠

We hired someone for a $2,000 project that included fixing a leak & a few other things around the house. Once the walls were opened, we found water damage and mold. So now the room is closed off, the mold test was another $400, and we’re facing another bill for mold remediation…who knows how much that’ll cost?🤪

Not exactly the holiday shopping I had in mind🫣

Getting that moldreport felt like the last straw.😅

I started a new medication a few weeks ago & thought it was helping, but it made me even more anxious and irritable….soooo, I’m seeing my doctor tomorrow…

I don’t know if this is postpartum or depression & anxiety or what needs to change. I just know I don’t want to keep sinking while trying to convince myself I’m okay.🙏🙏🙏

I know it’s okay not to be okay. But also… it sucks when you’re in the midst of it. And sometimes I need to say that without immediately following it with a list of reasons I should be happy.

I’m sharing this while I’m still in it because maybe you love your life but don’t feel like yourself in it either?

Me too, girl. You’re not the only one💛

I’ve gotten through this before & I know I’ll get through it again. … and you will too girl!😅

Leaving this right here so I can come back and remind myself how far I’ve come one day 🤞
