A blessed hallow’s eve from your favorite goddesses ❀⋆✴︎˚𑣿⋆➶

Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen said that years ago, a thief recognized him during a burglary at his home, apologized, then gave his stuff back.

The Star Wars veteran said he gave him some clothes and shoes and offered to buy him a ticket home. Link in bio for more.

Let’s talk BLOATING (and before we do, if you want the full video where I chat this too, just COMMENT SHA and I’ll DM the link — otherwise keep reading x).

Some bloating is absolutely normal (especially around periods and hormones!). And there’s nothing shameful about our bodies, at any stage, at any time.

But. Buuuut.

Lately my tummy has been SO SORE.
And swollen.
And sour.

For the most part, I just accepted it. I’ve always struggled with bloating. Maybe it’s just, I thought, part of me? Not to mention the insane amount of info, and pseudoscience, and noise. It all felt… overwhelming.

Then I went to @shawellness_spain (hence the whole ‘comment SHA’ thing - again you can watch the longer video there), where I massively adjusted HOW I eat, from stress to the foods involved, and…

My tummy felt amazing.
Inside. INSIDE it felt amazing.
Outside, the bloating disappeared.
Even in the evenings, after a day of solid eating, it wasn’t SWOLLEN.

I genuinely was surprised. I still am, honestly.

But. I’m back to ‘real life’ now.

And my bloating is back too.
Alongside the sometimes sour tummy.

Only now I’m wondering if maybe things could be different.
I’m ready to embark on a journey to figure this out.

And maybe, if you feel like it, you will join me too. So that we heal our guts (and cut through the pseudoscience noise), one lil question at a time.

x

Karvachauth is an Indian Valentine’s Day for us. My husband has been fasting with me for past 22 kc’s, and I love the fussing and pampering that comes with the festival! Some festivals are beyond logic, and should be nurtured for their sweet sentiments 💝😍 What are your thoughts?
