![[LINK IN BIO] A new study compares average rents across 19 NYC neighborhoods, revealing where $4,000 a month can get you a three-bedroom apartment, a private one-bedroom, or just a Manhattan studio.
The study makes one thing especially clear: in New York City, $4,000 doesn’t really land you an apartment—it lands you a neighborhood.
If you’re chasing extra bedrooms and square footage, places like Briarwood, East New York, and Belmont will stretch your budget remarkably far. But if you’re set on Hudson Yards, Chelsea, or the West Village, you’ll likely be trading space for the convenience of having some of the city’s most coveted blocks right outside your front door.
Hit the link in our bio for the full neighborhood-by-neighborhood rental comparison.
