The European Innovation Academy was a truly an incredible and unique experience. @eiainnovation was an experience of a lifetime and I am so glad I was able to share this experience with a few of my fellow @northgreenvilleuniversity students. The European Innovation Academy is a leading innovative entreprenership accelerator program that lasts 3 weeks and is located in Porto, Portugal 🇵🇹.
🎬 Right from the beginning we formed teams and my team and I formed @hestia_erp . I took and was delegated the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) where I led my team through the challenges that we faced during our time at EIA.
👨💻What is Hestia ERP? Hestia ERP is an “enterprise resource planner” that is geared for smaller businesses and is built from the ground up from our CTO @d.alexis.p leveraging the power of AI married to the IoT to create a seamless and integrated ERP. We are truly revolutionizing the way ERP’s are looked at from a corporate standpoint and shifting the power of an ERP out of the hands of the large-corporate office into the hands of the small “mom and pop” businesses.
🗣️Finally after rigorous planning and preparing, day 15 came and we pitched our final idea to a team of investors. And who was giving the final pitch? Yes it was me. This pitch felt very much like SharkTank in that it was very formal and tense. That being said, concluding the pitch, one investor stood up and said, “That was the best pitch I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.” So we succeeded in blowing away the investors with our pitch.
👏Thank you to @eiainnovation for a wonderful experience filled with many challenges and hardships that forced me to grow as a young entrepreneur and leader. Thank you to @z_xiannnnnn @d.alexis.p @mhclolol and @saracwhuang for being THE BEST team I could’ve ever asked for. Also thank you to @hucksrobert and @northgreenvilleuniversity and COBE for making this trip possible. Thank you to @therosebusch @silaslosh , @ciara488 for putting up with me for 3 weeks straight, you all were such a pleasure.
As always, more to come.
