So, turns out that reading the instructions first is a good idea… luckily I had the kids helping me to figure out my new recycled paper making kit. 🇬🇧 | Como 1907’s first-ever European away match ended in a 3–2 result in favour of Feyenoord at De Kuip in Rotterdam.

Assane Diao opened the scoring for the Lariani in the 18th minute, but Feyenoord responded almost immediately, with Zechiël equalising just two minutes later. In the second half, Hadj Moussa and an own goal extended the hosts’ lead to 3–1, before Greek striker Tasos Douvikas pulled one back for Como to make it 3–2 at full time.

The evening also marked an important milestone for three Como players, with Kaiki, Jesús Rodríguez and Mattia Liberali all making their UEFA Champions League debuts.

The occasion was made all the more special by the 1,200+ Lariani who travelled to Rotterdam to show their support. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stood behind the team on this historic European night.

Attention now turns back to Serie A, with Como travelling to Florence this Sunday to face Fiorentina in the seventh matchday of the season.

Here’s the match in pictures.
