this is why i prefer writing, bc i can sit and think about my thoughts and words but i kinda liked my voice sharing for once. I hope you take this lightly too bc i do believe humans are allowed to be selfish to look after ourselves but i also believe we can sometimes get caught up in our selfishness and it’s natural! If we take a step back and understand ourselves, then we are growing for the better. We make mistakes and we learn from them, give yourself grace and mercy and allow yourself to give that to others too (obviously read the context too).

the book i was referring to is Tender Buttons by Gertrude Stein and my interpretations of their writing in the first chapter.
