YUNG MAGAZINE FALL 2026. THE HUMAN ISSUE. She’s seen the world. But nothing quite feels like Cairo. For Egyptian actress and model @taraemad , growing up meant dreaming of everywhere else. Born and raised in Egypt, with summers spent in Montenegro, she imagined a life that would take her far beyond the city she called home. And it did. But somewhere between travelling the world, film sets and fashion shows, she discovered that the place she once dreamed of leaving was the one she couldn’t wait to return to. The chaos of Downtown Cairo. The little bookstores. The coffee shops. The sound of car horns and street vendors. All the things that make a city impossible to forget. “I don’t know if I’ll ever live anywhere other than here. Whenever I land, I’m like, ‘Oh, finally!” For someone whose life rarely stands still, perhaps belonging isn’t about finding somewhere new. It’s about knowing exactly where you want to return. Tara Emad. At home, wherever life takes her. Discover the full story. Link in bio.
