'I Love Lucy' premiered on Oct. 15, 1951 and 75 years later, the groundbreaking series still has us in tears. 😭

Six seasons and 180 episodes later, it remains one of the most legendary shows ever created. Swipe 👉 to celebrate the CBS sitcom that keeps us laughing and hear what Lucille Ball told us in 1984 about her happiest moment from the show.

Today is my birthday, and I feel like sharing something a little more personal with you 🤍

When I think about what matters most to me, I keep coming back to the people I love. My children, my family, my friends. The people who care about me, make me laugh, and make me feel loved in the little everyday moments. I’m so grateful for the life we share.

And there’s a part of me that is still dreaming, still hoping, still wondering how much more I have inside me to give.

My wish for myself this year is to keep believing in that part of me. To give my dreams time and space, even when everyday life gets busy. To keep going when things feel uncertain, and to be brave enough to take the opportunities I’ve been hoping for.

I want more music in my life. More time on stage, more songs to record, more people to create something beautiful with. I want to come home tired and happy after a rehearsal or a concert, knowing I’ve spent the day doing something I love so deeply.

Your messages remind me why this matters. Some of you have told me that my voice helped you through a difficult time, brought you comfort, or made you feel less alone. I never quite know how to explain what it feels like to read that. I’m singing from my own heart, sometimes without knowing who will hear it, and somehow it finds its way into someone else’s life.

Please know that I try to read every message and reply whenever I can. Your words stay with me, even when I don’t find the time or the right words to answer 🤍

If you’d like to give me something for my birthday, it would mean so much if you shared your favourite video of me singing. Send it to someone you love, or share it in your stories with a few words about what it means to you. And if you haven’t already, you can subscribe to my YouTube channel and follow me on Spotify and Instagram.

You’d be helping something very close to my heart reach a little further.

Thank you for being here, for listening, and for caring. I have so much more I want to sing for you 🤍

Knockin w/ @munilong @theparadoxband. 3 days until ALOUD!

what a day !!!! was not expecting to go as fast as we did for my 2nd half marathon but what a fun experience, I’m so proud of all the training I did & it rly paid off 🥹🙌 I trained for 14 weeks before with a custom @runna training plan & when it told me my projected race pace could be 8:30 I laughed I was like no way!! since majority of my runs were in the 9:30s.. it’s crazy how a training plan actually works 😂 with the dreaded tempo runs & speed work it rly improved my speed so now I feel so accomplished ! running right now feels like it’s fulfilling a part of me I haven’t felt since rowing in college just pushing myself mentally & physically & it feels so rewarding 💛 anyways here’s your sign if you’ve been looking for one to pick up running ! I used to dread it, & sometimes I still do lol it’s always hard but you start to like it because it’s hard if that makes sense ! you can use code GRETCHEN to try 2 weeks free of Runna for a personalized running plan from their coaches, obvi highly recommended I give all the credit to my runna plan for getting me in the best running shape I’ve ever been in 🏃‍♀️ we shall see if I take on a full marathon coming soon … !
