King Charles, Queen Camilla and The Prince of Wales will visit Aberfan on October 21st for a rare joint engagement marking 60 years since the disaster that killed 116 children and 28 adults. On that morning in 1966, a colliery waste tip collapsed onto Pantglas Junior School and nearby homes, devastating the small South Wales community. The royals will pay tribute to the 144 victims and remember the families whose lives were changed forever. The Prince of Wales will then visit Ynysowen Community Primary School in Aberfan to unveil the Aberfan Memorial Tree. #KateMiddleton #PrinceWilliam #PrincessCatherine #KingCharles #RoyalFamily
CHAK DE PHATTE, NEW ZEALAND!! 🇳🇿🔥🇮🇳 @indiancricketteam is coming to New-Zealand to play the @blackcapsnz and we couldn’t be more excited! Today, we had the chance to meet @lockieferguson who also plays for @punjabkingsipl so obviously, we had to show some Punjabi support! 😂🤌🏼 #cricket #india #nz #auckland
Hey friends! I’ve had the chance to paint this version of “Brook Moonturned” using the new @squidmarminiatures by @vallejocolors paint range. It’s a miniature I’ve always loved, and painting the owl was such a joy! I’ve prepared some content about the new range that I’ll be sharing over the next few days. I think it’ll help you get to know the paints a little better. I’ll also be teaching a workshop in Essen on Sunday the 25th, where we’ll paint the feathers of this incredible owl using a very simple approach with the new range. Hope to see you there! 🤗💥 #miniatures #paintingminiatures #warhammer #fantasy #owl
I cannot get over this view. 🤎 My most happy place on Earth is in nature, watching wild animals living freely as they are meant to live. Not behind bars or glass, just happy and free in the place that they call home. It was absolutely magical to stay right on the edge of the Yarra Ranges in Victoria, surrounded by beautiful birds and mobs of kangaroos caring for their young. Location: @yeringgorgecottages I’m in Melbourne for the next several days for @catloversfestival! Come see me speak this weekend at the Melbourne Showgrounds, starting at 11am both days (but come early to enjoy the festival and make sure you grab a seat.) We will have such a wonderful time together! After the festival, I’m heading to Hobart, Tasmania for a few days. I’d love any suggestions of how best to get out into nature there. What incredible day trips, hikes, or excursions have you done? Advice is welcomed and wanted!
The full video from Paris, where 200 antifascists tried throwing bottles and other objects at 30 nationalists but ran away when it came to an actual fight. This is for those who claimed there were fewer antifascists. You can clearly see their numbers in the background. Let’s be completely honest. Antifascists usually attack ordinary people from behind, targeting those who are alone. But when they face someone who can actually fight back, they run away, hide, and cry to the police. So much for 1312.
What a day at the Women in Leadership Awards 2026. Was great being part of the Home Office Women in Tech team and beating out over 200 nominations to be gloriously victorious! So proud of all the team who work tirelessly and give up their free time to help women thrive and succeed in digital, data tech careers. This recognition is really important to everyone involved and personally it was lovely to be involved, after a few glasses of wine the less said about my legendary dancing to Tina Turner tunes the better! #womenintoleadership #womenintech #awardwinner #winners #totalevents
