MAMA MOMENT:Speaking truth over your kids 🫶🏼
1️⃣Keep it simple. Find some scripture. That's all you need. Although I'm not quoting references most of what I'm speaking over them is *just* the Bible. It's all you need.
2️⃣Start small. What I speak now over the boys has been built over time. Some of it I stole from my mom, some of it grew as I grew them 🤰🏼and the rest is truths I started speaking over myself to combat my own insecurities.
3️⃣Consistency. I say this over them as much as I think to. It's not always like this with oil (although SP lovesss this☺️), sometimes it's in the car, on a walk, while we're doing puzzles, etc.
4️⃣Repeat the same thing. I say the same thing for several reasons. 1. So they will eventually have it memorized and hidden in their heart. 2. They will begin to speak it over themselves. 3. Their faith will be build when they hear the word. 4. Their mind will be renewed. 5. They will know their identity in Him from a young age. I already see some of this happening with SP.
5️⃣Randomly explain what you're saying so it isn't just words. I take lil bits randomly and share w SP what that actually looks like with his friends, at the park, etc. I give him real life 2 year old examples. He loves it 👏🏽
