1. I was the one who left the bed out knowning Belle loves to shred this one for some reason. Management is 🔑. Don’t want somethig shredded? Don’t give your dog access.

2. Shredding is an inate dog behavior that they don’t have access to often. Dogs don’t shred because they’re “trying to be alpha” or they’re “trying to piss you off”. They shred because they enjoy it and it relieves stress.

3. I’ve never taught Belle an alternate bhevaior or taught her to specifically disengage from this particular bed. Therefore, I can’t expect her to know or understand something i’ve never taught her before.
