Tesla remains undefeated. We’re living in science fiction times. A horse and carriage was the fastest way to travel for almost 3500 years. And in the space of about 125 years we went from that to a car that can do a kickflip and go 0 to 60 in under 1 second. Amazing stuff.

The beautiful @chanel.beauty Holiday Makeup Collection features embossed ski-resort motifs and comes presented in adorable white fuzzy pouches.

-Neige D’Or Oversized Illuminating Powder — A beautiful baked powder highlighter with a natural golden tone rather than a stark white base, true to its name, which translates to “golden snow.” It’s quite shimmery without being chunky or overly glittery. While I personally love a more glittery finish for the holidays, this one is versatile enough to wear every day, too.

• Joues Contraste Intense Cream-to-Powder Blush in Mont Rose — I’m loving this formula! The beautiful neutral pink shade has a satin finish and complements the eyeshadow quad perfectly. It adds just the right amount of color while keeping the overall look elegant and harmonious.

• Les 4 Ombres in 39 Ombré d’Or — A predominantly cool-toned quad that can also create a more neutral look depending on which shimmer shades you choose. The formula performs beautifully, with great color payoff, easy blending, and impressive longevity.

• Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss Set — 462 Givre, 464 Étincelle & 817 Aura — I absolutely love this set! All three shades complement the eyes and blush beautifully, and I’m so happy to add these gems to my collection.

• 31 Le Rouge Satin Lipstick in Rose Enchanté — A gorgeous neutral shade that leans slightly warm, with delicate pink shimmer. It ties the entire look together beautifully, and I’m particularly fond of this shade!

• Le Liner de Chanel in 554 Éclat Doré — I’m in love with this golden shade! I already appreciate this formula, and I especially love that it delivers an opaque finish rather than a sheer wash of color. Applying it to the inner corners of the eyes is my favorite way to add a little extra holiday sparkle. And the best part? It stays put all day long!

Overall, this is probably my favorite holiday makeup release this year, alongside Tom Ford Soleil Neige and Chantecaille Bijoux d’Or. Chanel has done it again with beautiful color stories, gorgeous textures, and perfectly balanced finishes.
