had to say goodbye to sweet diesel over the weekend. i think the hardest part about having a bond so strong with an animal is when you have to lose them. i will forever be thankful for the relationship i was able to create with him. he always kept me and anyone who was on him safe. i’m happy he was able to be some people’s first horse to ever get on and experience the joy that comes with these amazing animals. it’s hard to understand the safety you can feel with an animal this big and powerful but never once did he allow me to have any fear that couldn’t be overcome with just a little extra confidence. he was one of the most easy-going horses you could meet. the patience he had with me was remarkable as well as anyone who was around him. he showed me a sense a safety, trust, and mostly happiness🤎🤎
