A little late to the celebration but right on time to celebrate my roots 🌸❤️

Belated Engili Pula Bathukamma wishes to everyone 💗 Happy Atla Bathukamma and advance wishes for Saddula Bathukamma 🌼

I actually got this idea just the day before yesterday and really wanted to make it happen 😭 I usually dance to random songs but this is the first time I’m doing something for a festival and I really wanted to try it

I wanted to do something that felt a little closer to home, something that reminded me of the music I grew up listening to and the culture I grew up with ❤️

So I picked this song which is a favourite of mine, my mom’s and my sister’s and honestly I think it’s a favourite in so many Telugu households too 🤌🏻I thought why not try doing Garba on this song and see how it turns out

This is actually my first time ever trying the Garba style and those twirls and balancing were SO difficult for me 😭but I still wanted to give it a try and create my own choreography

This is my first time creating a festival themed dance performance and I wanted it to reflect a little piece of who I am, my Telugu roots, my Telangana culture and my love for dance 🌸❤️

This may not be a perfect performance but I’m happy I gave it a try ❤️

Thank you @hellomag for a brilliant party last night catching up with a lot of buddies

The political Goddess Emily @officiallymaitlis
The live wire who’s an absolute inspiration @davinamccall

And meeting @natalie_imbruglia for the first time … I’ve been told for decades that we look alike (jeez I’d be very happy if I did) so last night was the test … maybe the eyes ? 👀

Danced the night away with @1judilove who was teaching me things to make my ears pop 😎😎

Such a great night

Magazine is out on Monday ❤️❤️
