🤎WHAT DO YOU CALL IT WHEN EVERYONE NEEDS YOU A LITTLE LESS? I’m calling it… THE UNNEEDED ERA. •Your children are independent. •No grandchildren yet. •Your parents are still doing just fine. After years of putting everyone else first, you find yourself in this strange in-between chapter. And it can feel unsettling. But what if this isn’t about being unneeded… What if it’s finally time to rediscover YOU? Who else is in this era? ❤️ 🔎Life in your 50s/The unneeded era/Midlife identity/Life after children leave home/Empty nest feelings/Finding yourself after 50/Rediscovering yourself in midlife/Women over 50 life changes/The realities of being 50/Midlife transitions for women/When your children become independent/Life beyond motherhood/Putting yourself first after 50/New chapter in life after 50/Women navigating midlife
“I don’t want to make a hero of myself, all I want is for you to be my voice” ⁣ Reports suggest that a 23-year-old woman in Iran named Najmeh Amini has been sentenced to death for blasphemy over comments made on social media.⁣ ⁣ In this audio, attributed to Najmeh speaking from prison and released in September, she is heard calling for international groups to investigate her case. ⁣ The UN human rights chief Volker Türk said in August that he was alarmed by the rise in executions in Iran, with capital punishment continuing to be used “to instil fear among the population and suppress dissent”.⁣ ⁣ Iran is thought to be the world’s second-most prolific executioner after China. Last year, it put to death at least 2,159 people, according to Amnesty International.⁣ “אינני מנסה להצטייר כגיבורה, כל רצוני הוא שתהיו הקול שלי.”
