Like a proud kid on his first day of his final year at school. Today, I begin my final cycle of chemotherapy (the first of 2 sessions in the cycle) Can you beleive it? If all goes well, I will be clear in 4wks time to start getting back to normality (just in time for the start of winter). Once I'm through with everything, I promise to make 1 big video about the process and begin my journey of giving back. Let's do this 💪 #cancer #adamc #adamc3046
Selma Blair was arrested Sunday night after allegedly physically assaulting two Delta flight attendants following a flight from LAX to JFK. The Port Authority Police Department tells ET that the 54-year-old actress was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for evaluation. The two flight attendants, who were reported to have injuries, were also taken to a hospital to be evaluated. "Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct," her rep told ET. "Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition." The FBI is now investigating the incident, telling ET that this is protocol for any alleged assault aboard an aircraft. As for the airline, Delta told ET it has a "zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first." This isn't Selma's first in-flight incident. In 2016, she was removed from an international flight and later said she had mistakenly "mixed alcohol with medication," which caused her behavior. (📸: Getty Images, Selma Blair)

A Dallas family says they were left stunned after the funeral program for their late loved one featured photos of their Black children with dramatically altered facial features and skin tones. One mother’s reaction? “Who are these Mexican kids?!” BA Correspondent: @lamyiahptv
Is this a little controversial? Idk but I feel like it’s so important for people to know what’s possible when we work with the brains mechanisms for profound change! We really do have highly effective ways to facilitate these neurobiological processes & talking about the same thing over and over again without substantial change isn’t the way! If you’re interested in learning more about the mechanisms of memory reconsolidation and how to apply them, I recommend these resources: * Tori Olds’s YouTube channel. She has a great series on memory reconsolidation and another on Coherence Therapy, which is the modality I use. * Unlocking the Emotional Brain by Bruce Ecker and colleagues. * The trainings and resources available on the Coherence Therapy website. * My online courses for therapists at KinaWolfensteinTraining.com. * My library of videos and educational resources at Patreon.com/ComplexTraumaRecovery. When I witness someone having a really big breakthrough in just a couple of sessions, I often find myself thinking: Do people know this is possible? Do people know that long-standing patterns that feel so sticky and unmovable can sometimes change profoundly when we access the emotional learnings underlying them and create the conditions for memory reconsolidation? There’s also an important nuance here: even with a highly skilled therapist, reaching that kind of transformation can take a long time. With complex trauma, there can be many interconnected emotional learnings and protective barriers that need attention along the way. I’ve had plenty of experiences where I haven’t been able to facilitate a transformational experience in just a few sessions, and I don’t want to imply that this happens every time. Rapid breakthroughs are possible, but they aren’t a promise or a standard against which to measure everyone’s healing.
