DUBS IN THE UK 🇬🇧🤘
@npr, this was incredible journalism. Youth, in many ways, is being used as the conduit for the scam. My fear as a beauty founder? The fear of getting older makes just about everyone vulnerable… and AI? Harder to track and prosecute crimes. In these stores, you have actual people you can trace. What happens when the salespeople, and even the owners, become avatars? AI supercharges the scam. Reports already show subscriptions overcharging people and “contracts” for products that are hard to get out of… the internet is increasingly a minefield. @404mediaco (and @this.is.mallory!) reporting on TikTok Shop AI Slop still haunts me, mostly because when I search terms around health and anti-aging, I see more and more AI trained on videos of the actually inspiring women. And instead of a positive message, there’s a sale to be made. None of this is inevitable!!! Register to vote, and tell your reps you pine for Lina Khan. #themoreyouknow🌈⭐️
some photos over the past few months 🪽👼🏻 so. many. shots. every single one was worth it, but omg my butt still hurts. women are AMAZING. pineapple ice cream the night before our transfer which is supposed to be good luck! 🤞🏼🍍🍦🍼 transfer day!!!!! a day we’ve been waiting 4 years for!!!! mcdonalds fries - another good luck thing! 🍟🤞🏼 we cried through the entire transfer. it was such a special moment. can you tell from my puffy eyes. 😂 my little embryo 👼🏻 I love you! the waiting period was TERRIBLE fake smiles fr. I was so stressed. BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 funnest suitcase I’ve ever packed. I was floating. didn’t even care if people saw me whipping this out on the plane 😂 we have never been so happy. a moment I’ve dreamed of my entire life! best friends since 6th grade & both did IVF. felt like I finally met her at the finish line. when you live in infertility, you are so used to “nightmares” coming true. yes I’m crying, but I’m numb. celebrating you was very important to us, no matter how scared we were of heartbreak. ♥️ ectopic vibes 🤙 I stay in that 1% chance fr my actual rock. my everything. no caption 🪽🤍👼🏻
In honor of the "Girls" reboot, we’re taking a little trip back to Brooklyn circa 2012. We went into the archives to revisit the first "Girls" interview and shoot, one of @ChloeMalle’s first-ever articles for Vogue. She met the quartet at Allswell in Williamsburg, back in the day when all hipster restaurants had twee toile wallpaper. Tap the link in our bio to red the conversation with a 25-year-old @LenaDunham about the world of Girls. Photographed by Norman Jean Roy. Vogue, March 2012.
