#NEWS: A 15 year old Florida girl is facing multiple charges after allegedly using an AI altered photo to frame her ex boyfriend for threatening a school shooting.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Riverview High School near Tampa on Wednesday after administrators received an email containing a screenshot of an Instagram post threatening a shooting at the school.

The post appeared to come from a male student, but investigators determined he was not responsible.

Instead, detectives traced the email to his 15 year old ex girlfriend, a former student at the school. Authorities say she admitted to sending the email while knowing the image had been altered using artificial intelligence.
