i got gifted a free birthday trip this month and left after one night 🫠 (comment “matrix” for the entire post with soooo much tea) black mold on the lamp shades. told NO when we tried to book dinner because of a mandatory group meeting. burgers in the lobby with no mustard or ketchup. they had to literally cut our all-inclusive wristbands off so we could leave… we went to my dream hotel an hour away instead and i paid for it myself. and sitting by that pool on my birthday it hit me that the girl who would have stayed in the moldy room to be polite is the same girl who used to think the only way to make more money was to work more. it’s the exact same programming showing up in two different outfits, it just manifests in your hotel choices, your agreeableness, AND your bank account. this year i paused my podcast of 10+ years, launched courses, wrote my heart out, went evergreen, raised my prices, and stopped selling my hours. my courses made over $750k this summer alone. i quadrupled my income and worked LESS than i have in over a decade. i wrote out the whole thing on substack. the full hotel saga, the exact steps, the energetics underneath a money mindset quantum leap, and the real numbers (with screenshots) to prove it. comment MATRIX and i’ll send it to you 👇🏻

The fifteen firms everyone names are the ones with a brand. That is not the same thing as being the industry. Here is what has actually been happening. Partners at those firms leave, take their practice with them, and start their own. Those firms now run real mandates with small teams. Same people, same standard of work, except you are not one of thirty juniors on a matter. And the people I know who moved to one this year did it by choice, not because they ran out of options. There is a practical reason this list is worth having. At a twelve-person firm there is no recruitment wall. The founding partner opens their own inbox, which means a specific, well-written email reaches someone who can actually decide something, instead of a filter that sorts you by which college you went to. So I put together 100+ of them. What each firm does, the practice areas they work in, and where to apply. If placements did not go your way, or you are sitting with an offer you are unsure about, start here rather than sending a sixteenth email to the same fifteen names. Comment LIST for the details in your DM. Or send this reel to me in my DMs and I’ll send you all the information.
