The Cornish Hen: A Timeless Autumn Elegance 🍁🍂 Rooted in culinary tradition and elevated by the art of fine dining, the Cornish hen brings a sense of old-world elegance to the autumn table. With origins tied to the heritage of British game birds and the refinement of classic European cuisine, this petite bird has long embodied the charm of an intimate, thoughtfully prepared meal. Its delicate size, tender texture, and rich, savory flavor make it a beautiful centerpiece for gatherings where tradition, seasonality, and hospitality take center stage. #traditional #classic #season #hospitality #cornishhen
VIRTUAL MASTERCLASS: Now available! “Why does my foundation separate?” or “Why is my makeup pilling?”.. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked this at my masterclasses! And one of the first things I always ask is, “How are you prepping the skin?” I think we’ve gotten SO accustomed to seeing our favorite artists share their skin prep routines that we start reaching for those same products without really understanding WHY we’re using them, or whether the skin in front of us actually needs them. This is where so many application issues begin! Understanding how to properly analyze your client’s skin is one of the most valuable skills you can develop as a makeup artist. You can have every beautiful foundation, moisturizer and primer on the market, but if you’re arbitrarily layering products without understanding what the skin needs, you’re making your job so much harder than it needs to be. In this little excerpt from Luxury Bridal: The Masterclass, I’m sharing how I quickly scan my client’s skin to determine which products I want to use and how I’m going to approach the application. This is a HUGE part of what I emphasize in my education. I want you to understand the reasoning behind my product choices and techniques so you can confidently make those decisions for yourself, regardless of what’s in your kit. My full two-hour virtual masterclass is officially available to stream, and I cannot WAIT for you to see it! 🤍 Comment CLASS and I’ll send you the link to watch the full two-hour masterclass!

6 years ago, Mary sent me a cold email saying she wanted to help with our business. At the time we had a very small YouTube channel and only a handful of people on the team. But my gut told me I could trust her and that she could really make a difference. Turns out, I was right 😊 Through thick and thin, all the ups and downs of the last 6 years, Mary has been right there with me. We’ve worked side by side, she’s taken on countless responsibilities and today she’s our Business Operations Manager and someone I can truly count on. Along the way, she also brought Vhon into our team, who is now her husband! ❤️ Traveling to the Philippines to attend their wedding and be part of such an important moment in their lives was so special to me. After everything we’ve been through together, seeing them both so happy means more than I can express, I couldn’t be prouder of these two! Mary and Vhon, wishing you both an incredible life together, full of love, laughter, good health, success and plenty of adventures. Here’s to many more memories and growing together! And yes, this was my first time in the Philippines and I absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back! 🇵🇭🫶
Look up, Times Square 👀 Tonight at 8pm, artist and composer Kinlaw will be suspended by a crane more than 150 feet above Duffy Square for “FALL RISK,” a one-night-only performance presented by Times Square Arts. As the crane raises and lowers Kinlaw, a microphone will amplify the artist’s breathing and voice under physical strain. The work draws on Kinlaw’s experience caring for aging and disabled parents and navigating the insurance and financial systems that determine access to care bringing those pressures into a public performance. 📍 Duffy Square, between 46th and 47th streets
Doing what I do best. ✨💻🧡 #WorkMode #Confidence #CareerGoals #BusyDay #Attitude
