A night tour across GRA, Port-Harcourt would reveal the number of young girls who engage in prostitution as a "side hustle" in the city. It gets worse daily, hence other female students in Port Harcourt are prone to being lured into this bizarre situation.
It is with this in mind that the Helper's Charitable Foundation organised an outreach themed "Sex and Career Education for the Girl Child", and Better You Educational Foundation was a proud partner on this project.
We reminded the students of Government Girls Secondary School, Rumueme Port-Harcourt that they can dream big, work hard, pray hard and be sure of good success.
From JSS1 to SS3, the students were beyond happy to receive us. We didn't leave without affixing our behavioral development posters in various classrooms, and also distributing inspiring stickers for their notebooks. Our financial support to the project also contributed to the over one thousand notebooks that were procured for the students.
