A million dreams… and one moment we will never take for granted. Last night, Ellie had the honor of being a flower girl at her cousin Isaac and Ally’s wedding. As she walked down the aisle to “A Million Dreams,” our hearts were overflowing. These are the moments we lived for, prayed for, and once could only dream of. In this week’s parasha, Lech Lecha, Hashem tells Avraham, “לֶךְ־לְךָ” — go forth — without revealing where the journey will lead. Later, Hashem promises him, “אַל־תִּירָא אַבְרָם” — “Do not fear, Avram.” Avraham teaches us to have faith in Hashem’s promises, even when we cannot see what lies ahead. Ellie’s journey has been one of uncertainty, countless prayers, and holding on to hope. Last night, watching her walk down that aisle and share in our family’s simcha, we were reminded of the incredible gift of her life. How grateful we are that she is here, that we get to celebrate together, and that dreams we once prayed for are now beautiful memories. Mazal Tov to Isaac and Ally! A million dreams, a million prayers, and a lifetime of gratitude. Shabbat Shalom!
