A man would never have both testicles removed and be sent home without testosterone. So why is it still happening to women? Every day I speak to women who have had both their ovaries removed and were never told their body would suddenly stop making progesterone, estrogen and testosterone and they should be prescribed hormone treatments. After a hysterectomy, many women are only offered estrogen, as if that’s the only hormone their ovaries ever made. Which is wrong. A new study has once again shown a higher risk of diseases and earlier death in women who have had both their ovaries removed, especially at a young age. This has been known for decades though yet ignored by too many clinicians. This has to change. If gynaecologists are reducing levels of a woman’s hormones by removing their ovaries, they must talk to them about prescribing these hormones for them. Training for healthcare professionals needs to improve, and women deserve the choice to take all three hormones after surgery. #HormoneHealth #Hysterectomy #SurgicalMenopause #WomensHealth #Testosterone

Now why would you— 😂😂😂😩 Neighbors, how would y’all react? *we do not condone bullying or violence*
Y’ALL… 😂🤦‍♀️ If you know me, you KNOW I am TERRIFIED of roaches. One minute before we go live and one decides to make an appearance. 💀😂 Turns out my photographer is just as scared as I am… lol! Somehow, I pulled it together, locked in and got the job done. The REAL behind-the-scenes of reporting outside. 😭🎤 #NewsReporter #BehindTheScenes #newsblooper #ReporterLife #TVNews
