India is not failing women by accident. It is failing them by design. A 13-year-old child was allegedly abducted, raped, trafficked, and sexually assaulted by around 30 men over five days. This is not just the brutality of a few individuals, it reflects systemic failures in policing, justice, child protection, and society. A rape is reported roughly every 16 minutes in India. Thousands of women and girls live with the fear that they could be next. We cannot keep celebrating our “culture” while ignoring the violence women face every single day. Respect for women is measured by their safety, dignity, and justice, not by slogans. Enough outrage for one day. We need accountability, faster justice, better policing, and a society that refuses to normalize violence against women. FLAME’S BACK I WANT BIG 🐦‍🔥 We were at my friend’s birthday party yesterday (which is why I was carrying a massive two-tier white cake with roses while wearing a corset lol that’s “the context” of my ig story) and my friend JP asked me what I had going for work for the rest of the year. He kind of framed it as “so what’s the plan, more resting and beach days?” And I said actually no binch I’m in a massive building phase now!!!! big flames back!! The look on his face told me that (like a lot of people i guess?) he didn’t know this side of me. A side I haven’t taken out to play since 2023, when I built my first business, my design studio, from the (under)ground up. I’ve been in a soft, spacious season for a while, and I started to wonder if “protecting my nervous system” and “choosing ease” had kinda become a very smart way to keep a big desire tamed?? No more. After three months off this summer, I want big again. So I wrote an essay about it: how I plan to go all in without burning my whole life down. My 12 non-negotiables for a big building season, the nervous-system way to blaze without burning out, plus the prompt I used to write them so you can build your own. Soft, but fierce. Because i KNOW you really can go big and stay whole Comment DRIP and I’ll send you the full essay. Or find it on my Substack in my bioo! xxxxxx let’s bLAZEEEEEEE
