Loss is a doorway into love. I am grieving the loss of my dad. I did this dance to honor him and me in a movement ritual. I turn to movement to help me feel my feelings honestly and completely. And I practice body alchemy to bring love to my feelings in a way I can sense . . .

Loss is a deep call for love that comes from deep in our body. And our body understands love only as something she can feel.

Love as breath.
Love as touch.
Love as sound . . . the violins, the piano, the voice.

As I move loss in my body and bring love in a way I can feel, I feel whole and open and strong.

I practice Ishtara - a movement method of alchemy that transforms me into my highest possibility in any moment.
