Lubs is a German bio-certified brand founded in 1982 in Lübeck. As pioneers in organic produce, they specialize in fruit bars, marzipan, and pralines of the highest quality. I had the opportunity to work with this small, family-like company for about four years and developed their new look, which departed from the typical dusty organic aesthetic.

A grieving mother is speaking out after she says a funeral home promised to handle her 5-year-old daughter’s funeral services for free, only for the family to later receive an invoice totaling nearly $10,000.

#MonicaHicks’ daughter, #ZahLayahWalton, was fatally shot while riding in the family car in a suspected case of mistaken identity. During a vigil earlier this week, Hicks says Pruitt’s Funeral Home publicly offered to provide the services pro bono. The family accepted and allowed the funeral home to take custody of the child’s remains from the medical examiner’s office.

Hicks says she relied on that promise while grieving her daughter and allowed the funeral home to begin making arrangements, only to later receive an itemized bill totaling nearly $10,000. The funeral home has disputed the family’s account, saying it was required by law to provide an itemized statement and that Hicks had authorized the pickup of her daughter’s remains.

Community activists have confronted the funeral home over the bill as the family moved Zah’Layah’s remains to another funeral home.

Beccaria is always so dreamy, 10 years since I wore a custom made design by @luisabeccaria_luworld and @lucillabonaccorsi for my wedding. Nowadays, I probably would have shortened the cape to “just” 5. instead of 10. meters, but what’s youth for if not dramatic?

What hasn’t changed is my love for this wimsical universe.
Congratulations on a beautiful show, I can’t wait to wear….well, everything.
